Dreams often serve as a reflection of our subconscious thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Your dream about fighting flames in a house with your late mother carries several layers of meaning, particularly given the personal elements involved.
Connection and Loss: The presence of your late mother suggests that you may still be processing feelings related to her absence. The wooden house symbolizes your memories and the foundation of your relationship with her, which may feel fragile or vulnerable.
The Fire: Fire in dreams often represents transformation, passion, and sometimes destruction. In this case, it could symbolize your fears of losing cherished memories or aspects of your past. The fact that you are fighting the fire indicates a strong desire to hold on to those memories, particularly embodied by her sewing machine and clothes, which may represent her creativity or the nurturing aspect of your relationship.
Struggles and Emotions: The act of fighting the flames can signify your emotional struggle. You may be grappling with feelings of anger, grief, or helplessness associated with your mother's passing and the loss of her physical belongings. The eventual burning of the sewing machine could reflect a fear of losing part of her legacy or the physical reminders of her presence.
Community Support: The presence of others helping you put out the fire suggests that you may have a support system in your waking life or that you are seeking connection with others who share similar experiences. This indicates that you are not alone in your journey through grief and memory preservation.
Acceptance and Moving Forward: Ultimately, the conclusion of the dream, where the fire is extinguished, may symbolize a sense of resilience and the ability to move forward despite loss. Although many things are lost, the act of saving your mother's clothes shows a recognition of what is truly important and a determination to keep her memory alive in meaningful ways.
Overall, this dream can be interpreted as a poignant reflection on your journey of remembrance, loss, and the ongoing attempt to preserve your connection to your mother and your shared experiences. It highlights the complexities of grief, acceptance, and the importance of memories, even amid loss.
